By the end of the day our living room often looks somewhat like a toy graveyard decorated with a few pieces of laundry and some left over dinner on the dining table.

Today’s habit… Clean up the dishes every night. Going to bed with an empty sink and a clean kitchen sets you up for a fresh start in the morning. It is easier to stay organised and on top of the mess if you have a blank slate each day.

It might not seem like a big thing but making your bed instantly neatens the room and sets the tone for the day. Today, make your bed as soon as you are up.
