This post is written in collaboration with Big W and Nuffnang
A few of you have asked for some updated photos of my (now not so) little man. So when Big W was keen to get together to celebrate the launch of their Emerson, Dymples and Kardashian Kids ranges for baby week I thought it was the perfect chance to pull the camera out!
Mr Zero (?!) is now 3.5 months and he’s a gorgeous chubby little thing full of smiles. He’s still in his bassinet in with us although fast approaching the length limit. I’m not sure what we will do when he outgrows it as I’ve never had this problem so early with my other boys.
For his nursery and throughout our home I love soft neutral colourings. His room is mostly whites, greys and soft wood tones so his bedding needed to compliment this. Obviously I don’t want to spend a fortune on bedding (especially for his bassinet) so I set myself a budget of $50 to style his bassinet.
Fashionable, Affordable Dymples Bedding By Big W
As usual, Big W didn’t disappoint. Their new Dymples bedding range is full of gorgeous, on trend pieces that went perfecting with my neutral theme. If colourful and bright is more up your alley they also have a fabulous selection of fun, playful prints so you’re pretty spoilt for choice.
The quality is fabulous and the blankets especially are luxuriously soft; equivalent to anything you’d find in the designer fashion ranges in boutique baby stores.
While I could have bought half the store, I restrained myself and stuck to my $50 budget. These were my style picks for bubs bassinet.
- Dymples two piece bassinet fitted sheet pack ($15)
- Dymples cotton cot bed blanket in white ($12)
- Dymples knitted pram blanket ($15 on sale)
- In Your Dreams Bassinet mattress protector ($7)
This selection gave me two different looks for his bedding. It’s hard to pick which one I love more (luckily he spews on them enough I’ll be changing them pretty regularly)!
The patterns all work together and like with all Big W bedding they wash well and are durable. Both are essential when you’ve got a baby in the house 😉
Stripes & Spots Dymples Bedding
I think this one is my favourite look and I REALLY love the pram blanket (it’s soooo soft).
Stars & White Dymples Bedding
Not to be outdone by the spots and stripes combo, the stars are also super cute. I paired them with the white blanket but they also work with the stripes.
While the bedding is super sweet on its own, adding a baby just adds a whole new layer of cuteness… So here you go 🙂
