elf on the shelf ideas

Looking for Elf on the shelf ideas? I’ve got you covered!

Elf on the shelf seems to be taking over my Facebook newsfeed at the moment, and some of the ideas are pure genius! Some people have gone for a naughty elf, other elves are just in it for the fun, and some of them are complete daredevils.

I love the themed elf on the shelf ideas where the elf does different activities each day or where he’s developed a certain personality (naughty vs nice). I’ve even seen some where they have two elves, the naughty elf and the nice elf!

If you are looking to buy an elf on the shelf you can find them online here.

We haven’t done elf on the shelf in our house but I’ve been loving all the fun elf on the shelf ideas and decided to share a few. Here are some of my very favourite fun, cheeky and a little mischievous elf on the shelf ideas (with pictures)!

I don’t have the patience to do Elf on a Shelf. Some of the ideas though are very cool.

These are so cute! My girls are patiently waiting for the arrival of our Elf. They put in their request to Santa a little late this year – at first they were a little freaked out by the idea of having a little Elf running around the house, but after I showed them a few funny photos last week they now really, really want one of their own 🙂 Some great ideas here that I’ll have to keep in mind 🙂

I don’t know how anyone has the time or the patience for Elf on the Shelf. We barely remember to open the window on the advent calendar each day (which reminds me we haven’t opened one all week!).

Yeah we do the calendar too. We don’t personally do elf on the shelf (it gives me the creeps!) but I know lots of people love him.

I think if u love Christmas and love your children then u do things for them. So when my children realized that the elf brings with her and him (we have twins) the joy of Christmas then I believe they will learn to them too! Give it a try u may find that u have just as much fun planning cute ideas as your children do discovering them?

You’re welcome. I hope your elf got a good workout. Time for a rest until next year 😉
