They are also the perfect accessory to add some colour and refresh your summer outfits. Scarves are cheap and can be worn many different ways making them perfect addition to your summer wardrobe.
So before you pack up your scarves away check out these 5 simple ways to wear your scarves this summer.
This looks great with a simple singlet and jeans or with a long flowing dress. It hangs down low around your neck – perfect for hiding your tummy!
Simply fold the scarf so it is narrow. Hang it around your neck and tie it in a low knot.
The Beach Wrap
Some of the scarves that you buy are huge (180cm X 100cm) – making them perfect to wrap around you when heading to the beach this summer.
Open your scarf out to its full size, wrap it around your body and tie it at the side – easy!
The Twisted Necklace
There are times when you just need something around your neck. This is perfect when you just don’t have a necklace that’s the right colour but you have the perfect coloured scarf.
Fold the scarf into a narrow length, place the scarf around your neck. Tie the scarf once in the middle. Twist the ends around as far as you can go and tuck under. Repeat for both sides.
This is perfect for when you need a pop of colour!
Fold the scarf in half. Tie the two ends together to create a circle. Place the scarf around you neck, twist and place around your neck a second time.
The Belted Vest
This is perfect to wear as a top with a plain singlet underneath.
Drape the scarf around you shoulders let it hang down your front. Place a belt around your middle and adjust to cover your front and shoulders.
