You’ve made it. We are HALF WAY!
How are you feeling? Lighter? Just think of everything you’ve given or thrown away.
This can be a point where some of you might be finding it a struggle. Maybe you’ve fallen behind or you got stuck on a tough task and just couldn’t keep going. If that is you, then I’d encourage you to just start back up and forget what you’ve missed. You can go back to them later. If you hit a tough task and can’t get past it just leave it and move to the next. Don’t let it stop your momentum.
If you missed them last week…
Here are some quick facts about what we’ve achieved so far. I was blown away!
- There are over 1000 of you participating every day. There are quite a few more who’ve been in and out but every day at least 1000 of you have logged on, checked out the days task and got to work.
- I calculated that by the end of the challenge we will have parted with over 150 TONS of clutter as a group. That is just nuts.
- More than 300 (it’s now more like 400) of you have entered in to win one of the fabulous prize packs with $150 from Howards Storage World by sharing your posts on Facebook or Instagram. There are over 1000 posts in total already from the first week alone!
If you haven’t already, check out some of the incredible photos on Instagram (search #AOL30daydeclutter) or via Facebook and don’t forget to join the group.
Remember there are some great prizes on offer from Howards Storage World for those who share their efforts on Instagram or via the Facebook post each day 🙂

Okay so I think fate has brought me to your blog today…..I am in desperate need of de-cluttering!! Off to check out your other posts now!!!
#TeamMM
Well perfect timing! Would love to have you along for the ride.
What a great idea, I’m constantly de-cluttering! I find the kids stuff and their clothes are the things I procrastinate about. I also get stuck at the next step with heaps of things intended to sell/give-away which becomes my next procrastination. oops!
Hi Cindy,
It really is a constant thing isn’t it. Those kids have such an annoying habit of growing out of everything and making more work 😉
I make the decision to throw out one thing every week when I clean. I am sick of so much stuff around my house
I’m desperately behind due to a whole host of reasons but I am determined to declutter over the long term. I do like how I had already completed some tasks prior to the challenge (hello shoes and boardgames) but others will just have to wait until I can breathe again and find a moment to really sit down and sort through my crap. Loving this challenge Michelle – way to go!
I am not too bad at getting rid of stuff. I do need to declutter the space under the writing desk, so much junk :/ Putting it on the to do list 🙂
I have a list of jobs to do when life get’s less busy… Not sure exactly when I’ll get to them 😉 Thanks for stopping by.
