Hello and welcome to another lovely weekend! I’ve been missing in action this week as it has been crazy busy in our home. We’ve had some medical stuff to get on top of plus the new Family Living Magazine launches next week (oh.my.gosh!)
This weekend I’ve got some tasks to get you on track and I will have some more exciting news coming in the next week or so. Stay tuned but for now… let’s get organised…
Task 1: Do a toy cull
With Christmas approaching, now is a good time to sit with the kids and get rid of some toys. We talk about how some children don’t have lots of toys and so it is good to be generous and give some of yours away. We choose a few and donate them to a local charity store. In our home we try to have a rule when a new toy comes in an old one goes out which is a good way to keep toys under control.
Task 2: Clean out the car
It has been a while since we did a car clear out. Today go through and put anything a way that has found a home there as well as clearing any rubbish and giving it a good vacuum (and maybe even a wash!)
Task 3: Sort your bedside tables
If you don’t have drawers on your bedside tables this might be quite an easy task, but if you are like many people and your bedside table drawers are home to everything from random dummies to school notes, half-read books and missing mail then today is the day to clear it all out!
I hope you have a wonderful, refreshing and productive weekend!
